you wake up! this is not a fight to joho but pamba's cash taps. c'mon think!

@Hardwood, you mean you cant see this? How will this stop Pamba's cash taps?

I just saw a photo on today's newspaper of the walalahoi cheering Joho when he went to open some road in Mambasani. Just keep at this stupidity, and you will undo any good Jubilee may have done at the coast. There are better ways of dealing with the issue without alienating an entire region.

What most people don't realize is that Joho's issues with the govt begun way before the Malindi campaigns kicked off. Politically i think he has won the battle but his 'businesses' and associates have suffered a lot from his fight with the govt, which would explain why @harrydre is talking about the 'cash taps'.

One thing about Mombasa and the Coast in general is that they've never had any politician who's been able to marshal support from the entire region and i don't think that will start with Joho. The other thing is that for him to be able to be considered as a genuine Presidential candidate he would probably have to ditch ODM and form his own party kama Kalonzo, Musalia and the rest.......otherwise parties such as ODM, TNA, URP, Wiper ziko na wenyewe! Btw Balala was also part of the 'Pentagon' but was kicked out...

Joho's tribulations goes beyond the local politics and has nothing to do with the just concluded Malindi by elections…In the local scene, everyone knows about his criminal activities…In the international scene, drugs and did you hear about the nubbed cache of guns and ammo shipment from Australia, (I choose to treat as a rumour).

@ma$$$$, that's a really catch-22 situation there.
Just been thinking alone here, who is most likely to inherit Rao's voting block ? I say inherit because baba will have to retire after 2017. And his vote block seems secure enough for a smart successor to take over.

The same cannot be said of other blocks. After 2017, uhuru can't get you elected even as an mca.

Could it be Joho's strategy ? But wait, is he really that smart to be strategizing 6 years ahead ?

The only sure way to inherit the luo nyanza block (waluhya sioni wakikubali) for joho if he becomes railas running mate that way he can shout loudly in 2017 how he sacrificed his governors position but it wont matter then as they will have finished him politically and financially.

No. Some time back Choho was in the news begging the NLC to allocate the county gov't that KBC land. And the allocation never happened.
