Go on condemning an entire religion and blaming an entire group based on what they believe in.

Amargeddon here we come.

So is it right for the same Muslim preacher to blame an entire community in other threads yet Muslim should not be blamed, should other Kenyans suffer just because the beacuse of the beliefs of a section of the populace???

I really wish we had many minds like @quicksand. Nobody wants these kinds of insecurity. Don't forget even Muslims are victims of such acts as you saw in the Westgate! As @quick said, we need to restrengthen interreligious dialogue. We need to be careful with the mindsets that are always quick to point fingers. This is a complex problem which as you know may have root at our country's role in Somalia.

So @guka and @kysse and others who have misconceptions and mistaken bitterness in their hearts should work on the mindset for the sake of our country. You're elite people who have interacted and leaned a lot about others and need to lead by example, otherwise what will the illiterate in the village think!

This was the same man last week on a Friday after attending his prayers look at his thoughts on the people of Siaya

Look at what he is telling us now in this thread when his fellow muslims are on the dock? What a hypocrite!!!

Its about seeing the speck in your neighbours eye but not the log in your eye. Generally I do not have an issue with @AlphDoti's arguments. But I have come to the conclusion that he has this holier than thou attitude. Never seeing any wrong in his camp.

My problem with him, is when he imposes himself on someone (eg Me) who wants nothing to do with him.

@mcdoba, the radical preachers have always and will always be there. Luckily, they can only appeal to a small group of idle youths.

But when mcreggae starts feeling that something ought to give, now that scares me to the bone. If some misguided christian youth decide to hit back, the radical preachers will have succeed beyond their wildest dreams. They will be overwhelmed by eager level headed Muslim youth who only want to protect their people from the attacks.

Thank God our PORK and even RAO are in agreement on this one. Check their statements after westgate.

Flashback 2000. Ndura waruinge announced that mungiki had converted to Islam. The rest of us laughed it off but it sent shockwaves to the NSIS and CIA. The prospect of a homegrown terrorist cell was so scary to contemplate.

...so the gunmen first shot the pastor and then sprayed the flock ,then they went to a nearby church and attempted to do the same.......???? and some crap story teller here tells us not to speculate......???
...you know ,as MC says, something will have to give whether its the shabaabs strategy or not....this ushenzi is now too much.....this foolish behavior of attacking churches started in Garissa, then steadily its spreading to the rest of the country

Whether this turns into an all out intereligious conflict or places of worship are guarded by armed men and women, the 'terrorists' will still have the upper hand. In fact, armed guards may not dissuade attacks, they can only respond to attacks. Hence arming churches and guards is going for an all out war.

The solution to this problem lies in the area of ideas and politics. It's a leadership problem, in fact.

This manufactured inter-religious conflict will birth inter-religious dialogue. The contractions had started way before and birth is due.

Inter-religious dialogue will in turn birth unity. again the contractions had started way before and birth is due.

The leadership problem will soon be solved. All will be one.

The masters paying for those weapons the attackers used on poor Kenyans want to stir sectarian tensions. Be careful what you wish for.

So what will attacking mosques achieve... Islamophobia is reaching new levels is being driven by these terrorists!

I think the last thing we should want is the moderates to get involved in this...

What is lacking from the Muslim leadership locally is a clear, firm, unconditional condemnation of these criminal acts committed in the name of their religion.

In this gap, you then watch news features of 'Sheiks' openly supporting or sympathizing with terrorists.

I agree, high handed police tactics, profiling etc do seem to target muslims but let us face it, these criminals have a common denominator for religion.

It is very very very very important the local muslim leadership is not seen to be sympathetic to criminal acts.
