This is a grab for forex by GOSS.

@VVS this is old news...the bank is in compliance http://www.the-star.co.k...en-south-sudan-9-months[/quote]
Thanks @deal!
Just a general comment. If the squeeze goes on longer will GOSS increase it to $50mn? In Zambia, they increased it to $100mn which locked out many small banks with foreign ownership. Nothing wrong with the banks but a nationalistic approach.

Of course, what GOSS says is to be believed. 100%.

The bigger issue for GOSS is the level of expenditure vs income. Anyway, it's a great market but not for the faint of heart.

I have a huge bet here...although I'm an early buyer...I used the rights issue to get in cheaper...My shares are not for sale for the next 5 years.

1. Business has been retooled to fit the local market. Look at Equity & CFC cost of funds at H1 2013.

2. South Sudan

3. Standard Bank-They also used the rights issue to tighten their grip on the lender. Strong bullish signal.

4. Business model-its unique. 50% interest income...50% non interest income.

DTB is also good though.

A very good organization and they've actually started to use their Parent's muscle to dig in into corporate financing.
