Studying this hard is exhausting i tell you. christians cannot think this hard neither do they want to. v 19,20 - the law points to jesus. both 10 commands and all the subsidiary legislations. v 21, 22 - Is it a matter of law vs faith? Hell no. v 23 - before jesus came peeps were to look to the law to understand how god is. law = god. because law = holy + just + good = god. (Romans 7:12. v 24 - law likened to schoolmaster that directed peeps to jesus and his faith (remember the faith OF jesus?). v 25 - christians favorite drone. that they dont need the law now. that the law is crucified in the cross. well isnt there where jesus was? isnt there where the christians are supposed to be? the three of them law + jesus + christians should meet at the cross. Maybe that is why they talk freely of 'landing', 'airports' 'pines' etc yet have bible quotes in their signatures etc. and the most important issue of us who criticise christians is the sabbath. This one they have no answer for. Dumb christians. v 27 - putting on christ but not wanting the cross. hypocrisy of christians is so utterly disgusting. a simple straight forward reading of their bible reveals things they say they stand for yet they do the opposite. i bet none of them has ever gone through a single book of their bible as i have done, if they did, they would be different. blackberry are you still around? jitokeleze tafathali. I say that so far, the situation is awkward. But the most important question is whether I am bearing the cross at this moment. Bearing another's burden is sharing in and the truth. The quest must be sincere. This is the ultimate truth.

After galatians,I would be interested to hear your thoughts on proverbs.I still don't get the point you are putting across but I think I'll engage on what you've posted so far.

Chapter 1 and 2 I think you did ok.Chapter 3,not so much.
Chapter 3 clearly explains by faith not law can one be saved. It is by the grace of God you receive it,not claiming it by law.You also mention gen26,5.Abraham was not granted righteousness through following the law but by faith in God.Again no new old new covenants, faith was with Abraham and faith is what saves christians.ch3,24.The law was a guardian and guide to raise us to faith but even in faith we have laws to adhere to.It wasn't a brought so that we could indulge in sin but people will continue to sin. It's a constant struggle for those who pursue salvation and thats part of the deal, otherwise what would be the point of forgiveness.

symbols, you are sanitising disobedience. it should not be a constant struggle against sin for those who pursue salvation. if a christian is struggling with a particular point of disobedience, he is disobedient, there is no mincing of words. this is where all christians, maybe except newfarer, miss the point. If a christian is struggling with a particular sin he is trying to will and to obey on his own hence they are making of non effect philipians 2:13. abraham believed god and the result of his belief was he did keep commandments & laws. faith of jesus results in obedience. As you can see, christians are afraid of thinking as black berry aptly puts it 'there somethings i dont want to think hard about'. Lets take something as innocuous as the law 'honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long upon the land which the lord thy god giveth thee'. you will be surprised how all christians disobey that simple command. can I show you how? I wont go to why they disobey it. tycho, i have not given up. i will go to chapter 4 and 5 and then 6. deadpoet, what do you mean "Misinterpreting the Bible is not much worse than correctly interpreting the Bible"? its easy to misinterpret it but hard to interpret it correctly. join me in reading it even if only for the challenge of understanding it.
