I've checked out most smartphones in the market and researched on what experts and consumers say and I must say this. Sony is the phone of the future they have good intentions and working on smart stuff that @Chessmaster has elaborated here but they are not there yet. I checked out LG Optimus Vu. now LG is still groping in the dark on this smartphone issue. the only guys who seem to have mastered the smartphone are Apple, Blackberry, Samsung and to a some degree Nokia (they started on the wrong foot but they have regained balanced) Blackberry and Iphone are restrictive, it doesn't make sense to move from BB to Iphone. i wanted the freedom of Android, so I think I will swallow my pride and go samsung or remain with Blackberry.

I don't like how smartphones are coming out with touch only.Keypads/boards are bulky but more versatile especially if it comes with touch too.

There are quite a few Android apps which one can use to create office documents under Android. I personally use this one: OfficeSuite 7 (Google Play Store link), which costs substantially less than forking over half a month's fuel expenses to buy MS Office. Never had a problem transferring documents between my tab and desktop running Office 2013.
