If your car broke down around there at some 'ungodly' hour, i doubt you would be safe.

A few months back a friend of mine was approaching The roundabout at St Paul's with an Avensis from Nyerere Road and was met by 3 guys on the road and one threw a stone partly smashing her windscreen. As she slowed down, one of the guys jumped in front of the car hoping she would stop. She drove on barely missing the thug.
This was 5am... there were no other cars around.

When she reported to Central Police, one of the cops asked her "Unajuaje walikua wakora?"

She obviously replied with an insult.

And what were you riding behind her? A bicycle?
Or you were one of the thugs? Just asking!

You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

We all have a weapon in our pocket, our vote you will through it away, and then continue crying.
Those people who have been in Nairobi remember that you could cough money for the fear of being sprayed with human waste.
John Gakuo brought this and many others to an end.
Give him your vote or continue crying.
Am a victim twice when packed along harambee avenue.

I once saw in a foregn country a bill board on the side of the road with the words.. if you notice any port hole on the road please call this number .... What a relief to see such a thing in the future in Kenya...if you see any mugger call this number...ama the number will be busy throughout that it will never go through.

How things have changed around that roundabout? Back in the day while at 'The', we used to troop back to Hall 9 from Karumaindo at 3-6am and it was 100% safe. You could even walk alone in that tunnel at 3am.

Back in our days the whole area from Central Police, Jeevanjee gardens, around Lifestyle, Loita street, and Grand Regency hotel was safe due to student presence through the night!
I blame it on harsh economy Pray

By the way do not try to chase them. What will you gain? You can get into more mess.

The car reg marks on the mirrors will not stop them. They value the housing more, with all the gears and cirtuitry in it.

I have seen these thugs severally along this road and I pray to Allah that one day we get a sane police patrol force.

Safe driving
