Why does a license expire? Its not like you can't drive anymore or you need to take a test to renew it.

@Alstuudh...you just kataa and say you are licenced and 'here it is bw magistrate....' It is over hapo hapo!!!! They are not too keen on bailing anyone or keeping such trivial cases too long.. By the way, the fine s I think Kshs100... so whats the point of the whole process?

...the govt needs to generate revenue thats one of the ways,do you have to renew ua DL in other countries?
