I experienced a sense of de javu while looking at the links. A bit of checking into my memory revealed that I once toyed with these 'vehement' ideas as an adolescent.

And you can think of the marks of adolescence: extreme egoism, with rash boldness!

Anyway, humanity seems to be under heavy attack from despair disguised as philosophy and 'love'.

Notice the 'vehement' logo is baphomet's Pentagram. Looking at Les Knight's ideas reveals great similarity with Antoine Lavey's satanist ideas.

The 'vehement' group is also an amalgam of other ideas like that of 'gaia' that are at the most, half baked.

Then they seem to be oblivious to the fact that there's a new species on earth- homo deus. So their homo sapiens cries are a bit too late!

Hehehe! are u suggesting that a new human species(i don't know whether to refer to them as human) has evolved from homosapien and that homosapienS(the ones who are members of VHMET) are scared they are going to die out and give way to homo deus?

Homo sapiens has taken himself to a cliff's edge with his evolutionary ideas. His self centeredness, and experience with science and technology shows him no alternative but destroying what he has.

Let's take a look at one of my 'heroes' as a youth: Ted Kacszinky. (I was then studying psychopathy and was thrilled by the fact that he had eluded the FBI for ten years, and was a scholar. Speak of youthful romance!)

He advocated for the destruction of our present culture that worships science, technology and progress and called for a reversion to 'nature'. And to put this matter on our agenda, he executed the una-bomber attacks. Isn't this driving ones' self to the edge?

But what of those who lose themselves to the light? They gain a new powerful and benevolent self that has access to infinite resources.

VHMET logo.

Baphomet.

The Sigil of Baphomet is the official insignium of Anton LaVey's Church of Satan.

Is this what @tycho was talking about?

Science is the human endeavour to study and manipulate nature.

@Josiah, what I have read about the 'vehement' suggests satanist ideology. But whether the members or adherents profess Satanism is another matter.
