This is the issue..CFC is doing away with Individual Retail Clients, they are only maintaining only Corporate Accounts. Its rather unfair to individual clients since you are directed to two agencies. Rumour has it that this agencies has connection with some CFC's top level managers. I mean how many of this "review of our business model" casualties will they be channelled to this accounts just by the fact of insinuating. I guess its just business as usual at the expense of the customer.

finding a broker is no biggie . asin no big issue . even you local bank can be taking your buy and sell orders and it ends there. what you need is added value to help you make better trading/investing decisions through periodic market analysis and and stock recommendations most brokers DONOT have that .
If you are looking for a broker who will offer you more . Find us here

They don't have a branch in Mombasa though.Anyway the grass might not be greener on the other side. How about sticking with Cfc??

can be what if they opt to disable or rather change the rules to the effect that EFT will only be done through one of the agents hence you are arm twisted to register......

I inquired as to how one can receive the proceeds without registering with the agents. That was the reply...

By the way, all my 'eggs' are not with CFC. I only joined to sample the online trading experience which has been less than pleasing so far with the system unavailable more often than not. Once this thing settles, I am likely to transfer the shares I have with them to my other broker.
GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

My exit strategy
• Will not buy additional shares through CFC
• All sales proceed will now be diverted to my new broker

Am off to SIB. I have heard all good about them and no ill. And they have an online trading system that is key to my trading

@Sparkly I wish to correct you and state the facts. EKV is not another CFC agent frustrating Investors. EKV has no relation whatsoever with CFC. EKV is an agent of Dyer and Blair Investment Bank. Lets not talk out of emotion or hear say. They offer professional and personalized services which I have experienced. I personally moved out of CFC and am happy with the services I get- statements and updates.

So if they are now an agent of Dyer and Blair, I dont expect anything different from what is said in the thread above

http://www.wazua.co.ke/forum.as...m=279299&#post279299

.... and I have a disturbing feeling that _Advisory = granville ws = Collince_Opiyo_Okeyah = EKV Securities

anyone moving.shares take 2 months to be moved. so plan movement wisely

SIB a few pointers. very good research dept.
why is it that all national and international journals quote Eric musau. why only him he's from SIB.

also why are they always involved in rights issue and other stock actions . do they always get them by merit or current regime gives goodwill. could this change in another regime?

otherwise no qualms bout them.

Do you have to move to INVESTAX first before moving or you can do it directly from CFC?
