Sio maneno yangu, I just quoted: Wonder what element of truth could be there!!!!! He had been sacked, so she was the sole provider. She came home late, drunk as usual. He claimed she 'smelled of sex'. They argued. He grabbed her bag and found inside a packet of condoms, two missing, one still there! She retorted; you should be grateful I used a condom! He grabbed her neck and hit her head on the wall, and realised to his horror that she was dead! He was on the run, but is now behind bars! Phew!!! Apparently since being fired, the man literally watched as his woman changed men, got calls throughout the night, flirted...and her reply to his complaints was standard "they provide what you cant provide". The broke and bitter guy tried hi...s hand on every job but failed! Even tried joining the police, of all the jobs, if only to have an income and gain some respect! Today am only addressing the men; why is it assumed that an abusive relationship is when you are abusing the woman and not vice versa? Why cant we learn to leave? Why does the whole world treat the woman as an angel and you as the devil? Why is the boy child for example ignored as all the NGOs, even those headed by men, campaign for the girl child?See More ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

This post is as tasteless as they come.Lets say what you have said is the truth, which I doubt, why not take a walk they were not legally married why resort to violence. You cant justify violence with she had it coming.According to several reports she had asked a certain NGO to help her get his boyfriend out in short the Guy was an abusive KUPE (TICK). @Selah - You are too harsh on McReggae. First, he said those are not his words and secondly, if that is really what happened, it explains the hubby's/boyfi's actions to a great extent. I am not advocating the taking of a human life but if you love someone and they do such a thing to you, the emotions that follow will cause you to do things you wouldn't ordinarily do! Eventually you will regret and people who don't know what you were going through will give all kinds of theoretical approaches you would have used but it will be too late. In sheng, nimekunoki means I'm in love with you; kunoki also means going mad. Think about it, falling in love is a form of madness. Most people fall in love only once in their life time. A huge percentage die without ever falling in love! If you are in the later group, there is a lot you can't understand. The problem is that you don't know what love is till you fall in love. Most people are not even aware that they have never fallen in love. They confuse several other feelings with 'falling in love'. The day you really fall in love ndio utajua hiyo nyigine yote ilikuwa ni mchezo tu. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@Maich Lemmi tell you a personal thing, I dont think I can 'live' without my Wife, I know if she was ever to read this post she would think am a wimp, but the truth of the matter is if you love someone the way I love my wife Violence would be the last thing in your mind. Maybe thats how I have been brought up but hitting your spouse just bcoz he doesnt love you anymore is to Me a case of insecurity not Love. The guy was a control freak, lack of a better word,When I said I cant live without my wife it means I would be under intense emotional anguish for quite sometime but as they say I know time heals all wounds..I know I felt the same thing or maybe different with my previous girlfriend but true love is emotional not mental nad violence is in most cases Mental. @mcdoba, very good observations about the boy-child.
@selah,it is precisely people that love too much that can actually kill. It is true what they say: the line between love and hate is very thin. Those who love so much will hate with the same intensity, its just the flipside of the same emotion - but the degree & intensity remains the same. For men, the stimulus needed to dramatically flip them from the extreme of love to that of hate and eventual murder is just his wife's infidelity. Si you have heard of crimes of passion? Thats how they arise, in the West such a murder as this dude's can actually be considered a form of temporary insanity and win an acquittal because when performing it he was under such a heavy maelstrom of emotions (love, anger, jealousy, feeling of betrayal) he was NOT is possession of his sanity - his logical self had taken leave! I dont support his actions but am very sure this dude never really set to kill the girl and was indeed shocked to discover her dead.

@intel This guy had tried to kill her b4 some section of the media quoted the attempts as 3 time,3 freaking times,so to me thats grounds for murder. when prosecuting for such a crime you need to prove motive beyond reasonable doubt and the motive for killing her was 'if I cant have her No one should'. Several pple have said wambui wanted out of the relationship she had even tried an NGO to compel the hubby to move out of her house. Her action to move on should never be grounds to blame her for her hubbys crimes. So she had spent condoms, so what? they were not legally married and they had plans of splitting. My take on this issue is that if a chick doesnt dig you take a walk violence will never make her change her mind anyway. More potential murderers justifying the actions of a murderer. Have the murderer hired some of his colleagues to tetea him. Why post this rubbish when you have not heard from the dead. Or is it a case of one gender trying to justify the actions of their colleague or a tribes man trying to justify the actions of a fellow tribes man. Shame!!!

@ tassia, ANYONE is a potential murderer. The circumstances matter alot. @Selah With due respect,I think you have a long way to go in life. Your reasoning here is awfully simplistic. Very unlike your normal way of thought. I do not justify murder at any cost. I'm just cognisant that Human beings should be more afraid of their capabilities than what they cannot do. Life is interetsing with its twists and turns. I Think Therefore I Am

@bwenyenye so lets me get this straight you are of the opinion the guy killed a freaking cheating wife. Ok I am of the opinion he was a control freak and a tick who could not stand his baby mama dumping him in this harsh concrete jungle. Its nothing to do with love as some people here are alluding to. HE is an insecure son of wacha tu. '......to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' Colossians 2:2-3
