This will be one long bear - it will got till Aug when we will suppossedly carry out the first vote.

After that we will get into a run-off 3 months later ie around Nov. So my earliest estimate of recovery will be around Dec next year.

Aware of these variables, I sold out 3 weeks ago and for the first time went into real estate. My comeback will be around July - Oct next year when I expect the index to be around 2K pts.

Iam not sure if kina sparkly n Guru267 took a hybernation similar to mine.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

@the deal, thanks for confirmation that I'm right on this one. Too juicy cum-div if you asked me. Can't see ex-div going below 9.

NSE can't even consolidate losses and rally at least back to 4200 - 4300 levels for the next selling bout and now already lower than 3900... sic... A price disconnect is up on the cards with more downside risk. The chart never lies... Get ready for greater discounts despite the rosy fundamentals...

when is the next relief rally. Jesse livermore, said the tape never lies.

Based on the short term chart pattern, the index should bounce. When NSE hit a low of 3915, the RSI and Bollinger bands were in agreement despite the oversell. Since then the RSI has diverged with the index i.e. the index is below 3900 while RSI is trying to reset from the oversell -selling fatigue is setting in. Also friday's volumes on safcom were quite heavy in terms of buy side. So in the short term I expect safcom counter to push up towards result announcement in May which should also pull up the index along a few blue chips (KQ is excessively oversold - below 30 is kool for bargains). But this is just a brief rally and the larger scope is bearish. If NSE can't hold at 3600, holding those IPOs will be risky - just like what happened to coop on listing. Sub IPO price immediately...

NSE should just de-list neveready - this might be the first stock to trade at Ksh 1.xx like some voice calls or sms... Its investors have experienced a genocide...

@jerry, KK usually goes ex on AGM day. I suspect it is the same this year. AGM is 28th April, at the Intercont, 10am. I just wish they would give polo shirts - I want to proclaim that I am a shareholder.
