Dont ask for fundamentals when demand and supply forces take charge, even emotions constitute part of business, even houses in nairobi are not worth the sky prices they are sold at.

Foreigners exiting heavily. At 85% of the selling activity.

Since listing on 9/9/2014 the rally has been on gap ups.

Listing day gain - 71.58% - Closed @16.30
Day 1 gain - 9.51% - Closed @17.85
Day 2 gain - 9.80% - Closed @19.60
Day 3 - current gain - 9.69% - current VWAP @21.50

The issue such price movement whether on gap up or gap down is they offer no support or no resistance respectively. Thus why gaps get filled swiftly/rapidly both up or down to seal that vacuum.

Those gap ups will get filled and for those caught at the reversal turn...

Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

This thing reminds me of Equity bank share in 2010 I think. Stellar stock. Rode from 120 to 150 then disembarked. Darn thing kept going up, nay rocketing! Got tempted, returned at 280 and 316 on share split rumor just for the foreigners to lead by example in selling till the think tanked to 110 then 90 in even more record time! Learnt my lesson on greed :) Everyone has there's..

This article has nice info at the end, but some glaring mistake on the NSE share float. Such misinfo is an embarrassment.

Is it that BD reporters ignore some facts or just bogus reporters! The mistakes have been increasing this year. Anyone else noticed this? May be wazua starts a counter tracking the articles and reporters misinfo then find out the top 5 culprits. From a biz perspective maybe wazua can start a biz news channel. Awesome opportunity that will trounce BD flat out.

Chief, you read my mind. I've also noticed this. Complacency, in my opinion, due to lack of competition is to blame. A serious rival channel should serve as a wake up call
BD doesn't care.
