You said it @youcan'tstopusnow: Ms. Kenoli Kobi left suddenly to journey to land of Puma in the hopes of nuptials. Today morning, she is back. No fanfare, no bride price, looking a little paler. Shouldn't the elders meet to discuss what has happened to our bride? And is this a new trend set by Centum where investors don't really need to be told the full story...

this aint fair. Kk share is always taking the heat! now that theres a profit warning is when they think of lifting the suspension??¿¿ nkt. does this imply due diligence is complete? The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

The return of Keke to the market has prompted me to offer my 2 cents:
Interesting that KK has come back to the market with no news on the takeover while they have loudly trumpeted the profit warning. I recall a similar warning 2 years ago whence the 2nd half profits came in much stronger than expected.
So the question we need to ask ourselves is has the company fundamentally changed? I think not - not even with the profit warning.

it is fishy. either. 1. deal or no deal. in which case I'll be happy to have our daughter back, we know her real value. 2. an attempt by Kk/puma to reduce the strike price. yes sounds paranoid, but if share plumeted it will be easier for them to explain the lower strike price. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

My take:
1. The shares where unfairly suspended from trading by the CMA, so there was no need to keep them suspended since they didn't suspend PAI from trading despite the bid from Sanlam.
2. Puma Energy might have walked away...it happened to Nedbank and HSBC due to:-
i. couldn't agree on a strike price with the big guys ii. Discovered some rot on KK's books
3. The deal is still on and an announcement is imminent
