CBK was to announce the list of banks who are in the final list to acquire Chase Bank and remove it from receivership about three to four weeks ago. What happened? Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

James and Mak are collateral damage, they were employees (GM's Finance and Credit) who took instructions from the bosses. They both held powers of attorney for the bank and signed all loan agreements. Woe unto them "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." James Collins

In all fairness, at their level, they MUST have been privy to the deals and WRONG DOINGS!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I am not sympathetic to them, they are getting whats coming to them and fairly so. However, the entire Chasebank top management (GM's and above) were in the mix and equally guilty of looting the bank and getting ridiculous free loans. However, these two are in the dock because they held the powers of attorney and signed all the banks legal documents including loans.
