This discussion is becoming ridiculous. Actually read the article in BD, there are no "shocking revelations" and there is absolutely nothing in it to indicate that "Brtiam is run like a personal property." Some wazuans in this discussion are just upset that they bailed too early on the stock and are now (and have been for a while) desperately trying to talk the stock down to buy back in. It has not worked so far and is not going to work. Britam is an undervalued stock with a promising future. It will hit 18 this year.

and by the look of things 14 to print will be a fierce battle

My online trading platform is having a technical hitch, do we have huge demand? Give us Bid/Ask please.

What does the BRIT cartoon say? Moving average EMA 100 and WMA 100 gauges have rejected the bulls resulting in a bearish weekly pin-bar candlestick. Target SMA 20 at 12.45. The 61.8% fibo rebound rally from the 10 handle was on vapour volume. Still remains a golden handcuff play until I see accumulative supportive volume plays. Let's see if the 10 handle will stall the expected bear pressure strength.

@Hisah

How do you compute these Fibo levels in terms of taking the High and Low.

For Britam i got it by taking the High at 20 and low at 10 and getting the Fibo levels as below;

38.2%--ksh 13.8
61.8%-- ksh 16.2

so expecting serious resistances at 61.8% and with High of 16.20 expecting pullbacks at 13.8 or 12.4.

I am trying to compute for CIC and safcom;

Which High do you take for CIC...Ksh 8 or 7 or 6 and low (4.5 or 4 )....Do you take the high and low over a specified
period say 1 year or 3 years ?

Thanks

I usually use the two year (104 week) chart period high and low. For brit your fibo is the same though in a bear the 38.2% level is ignored during a pullback if SMA 20 (12.45 - 50) is close by as a stronger support level. If we break down then 10 handle is the target coz of the psychological round number. Markets like testing or resting at round numbers as per human psychology. For CIC I need to recompute.

@metaspoilt for CIC I'm using the high at 12.40 and low at 4.70 assuming this low is going to hold if the week finishes with a pin-bar candlestick. Heavy support is also clustered between the 4 - 5 zone, which is the level that launched the parabolic rally till the 12.00 handle. If this is indeed a reversal floor as bulls defend the 5.00 handle, the bounce targets 6.45 (23.6%) or 7.50 (38.2%). 50% target is at a distant 9.20.

If price slips below the 4.00 handle, the above scenario will be negated as losses extend towards new all time lows!

Thanks Hisah..We are on the same page

If 4 is breached,then 25% fibo is at 2.8

At close of trading (BRITAM)

Demand side

3,900 KSH 14
200 KSH 13.90
9000 KSH 13.10
600,0000 KSH 13.05

The 600,000 demand appeared when the plunge was imminent..We call this price manipulation aka PPT

There will be heat next week

Even safcom is feeling it
