This is the first time I have made a profit at the NSE. I sold all my stock at 17.50. I plan to wait for it at 12.50 or lower. I hope I am not being I too ambitious.

For me I'm waiting for the price to get to 300/= split, get to a similar price again and split again, before I think of selling.

You must be a newbie in the stock market...i was taken back by your quote....making mega profits is not physics provided you do your research, confident in your stock pick and patient then profits will roll in with time. Good move on selling NSE, let the hype die and the stock price settle.

Yes, I am a newbie in terms of investing in shares (I am more into real estate). I have only been in the market actively for about 6 months. The reason I sold was because from my assessment I feel that the NSE share at 17 bob is currently over-priced (my humble opinion) and there was a profit on offer. I've decided to stick to my other counters which I had researched on for months and planned to be in for the long term.
As for my quote, I find it as a useful motto for any investor in any field.

@obiero Thanks for the advice. It wasn't 500 shares though, several times more.. though much less than I applied for.

@icecube thanks

I am seeing it's up to 17.55 gains made but with the megre allocation most of those who participated do not feel it as we had our banks overflowing with refunds
