Very silly...The court abdicated its duty...How does the court tell the parties to sit down and talk???That failed and its the very reason they are in court...A populist ruling throws the media sector into further confusion...CAK will invite further bids as directed then throw out the local media...its not the court's business who should be awarded the license..
@Maka, well said. We are in the era of court activism, I don't like it how the courts want to stick its nose in all matters where there are competent constitutionally mandated authorities e.g Senate now CAK.

Couldn't agree with you more. People go to court because they have failed to agree. Even the time for arbitration was long gone. The courts have failed us on this one. So what happens if there's another stalemate? Call on the President???

Appellate decision was on point. The media houses were already transmitting using analogue. Change of technology doesn't cancel their transmission license. Their analogue transmission licenses should have just simply been converted from analogue to digital.
at least on this point the supreme court was spot on. and i agree with them . you don't get a license in a new technology just because you invested heavily in old technology. and the court of appeal had no business taking over the work of communication authority of kenya (ca).

The only ones I can vouch for are Rockdale REL-816 T2, CrystalView and Jolini. Prices generally range from 4k to 4.5k in any of the many shops on Luthuli Avenue.
