Anyway you are correct though a little ambiguous. yes Native speakers however if you noticed Mandarin and Hindi are very homogenous and their growth is premised on the growth of their native speakers. For English and to an extent French and Spanish - these have all to do with culture permeation. Things such as music, sports, the internet, TV and movies is really spreading it. Literacy of english is important if you need to trade outside your boundaries. Arabic is also very well spread. You are right @masukums, English and Arabic share a similar trait: they span across race and tribe even geographical... and their power is that you get taught English or Arabic by a non-native speaker who learnt from a non native speaker and in that way makes it's perpetuation easier and appeal broader. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
