Wayne Rooney is not a product of Man Utd football Academy, he was signed from Everton (2004) for £25.6 million which at that time was a lot of money to spend on such a young player. He had already played for England (Euro 2004)before joining Man Utd and given his arrogance i don't think this young man gives a **** what SAF thinks of him. It will not be hard for him to leave Man Utd should he get a better offer.

Real Madrid have declared they've no interest in signing Rooney plus i don't think Mourinho would sell Benzema and give a further £60 million. I think Man City might as well sign him.....his family won't have to move anywhere and a deal of £300,000 per week looks very attractive.
