I dnt think 24.00 will hold this stock. That'll b undervaluing the stock. When they were reporting losses the stock was trading at 21.00 to 22.00 range what about with a 40% profit. Pure logic if you ask me.

Bus indicator signals left, disembarking. Its the weakest in my portfolio and 25% (after comms) is not bad for 1.5 months work

The only way AK will even start to justify the current prices is 100% increase in EPS.Can they do it?

AccessKenya appoints board chairman
http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=65144

I think the Somen's have realized that having a Board of Directors that is not dominated by Somen's and wrangles is good for the company. Otherwise, if they wanted to bull-doze their way they should not have listed it: in the first place.

qw-I boarded AK before you did with a very clear strategy of exiting when it hit Ksh21. I exited at Ksh21.50.
It was one of two speculative stocks in my portfolio i.e. to take advantage of the silly sell-off in May.

We are entering a tense period for NSE and don't want to hold speculative stocks during the enxt month

I jumped out at 21....should touch at least 17 by October so that I can repeat the process again...and begin playing with the house money.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

This is VERY OLD NEWS but old news is still news in matters of substance for Access-Kenya shareholders. Personally, i like the entrepreneurial spirit of Jews or should i say people tracing their DNA in Israel. These guys have great brains and they never say die...not to their businesses. To understand what i am talking about imagine the genius behind Kenol CEO, Jacob Segman. Any negative sentiment that affects the businesses they run never goes unchallenged.

@BGL - Segman is one smart CEO... He has done very well in an industry where many have collapsed or thrown in the towel...

Corruption, Favoritism, GoK interference, etc... but KK has survived & become stronger!

Below 20 & plenty of sellers. I think the 40% has been factored in already...
