Where is the usual last minute rally before the book closure is on Friday July the 16th? Considering that there will be a price correction relative to the bonus issue (appx 10) thus tying one capital before approval and credi ting wont it be wise to exit now? Ova to you wazuan!!

Certainly Centum is a stock to keep an eye on. Looking at the there portfolio (http://www.centum.co.ke/default2.php?active_page_id=363) the company has invested in most bluechip companies...however if anyone is looking at making a killing on this stock should give it a 3 and above months time frame. i you have spare cash buy....smile

@Guru.i still lik it as a growth stock coz investors are really exited abt it (as evidenced in the price gain of over 100% as savvy investors take positions on it) but it i strees that it was a good choice for some quick profits..... propably a time frame of 6 mounths would be accurate. And why are the bonuses they issued not reflecting ??????

Shame on you The bonus will reflects only after approval(both by shareholders and regulatory authority in our case CMA) and crediting. So just be patient. i just like your innocence!

@qw price gain was because of expected recovery from the dismal 2008/9. Hakuna growth hapo. But for the quick profits, i agree with you.

Every stock is a buy hold sell..hata uchumi was bought..and is being held(Hata kama ni by force!) and will eventually be sold off some day... some day.. Eh?

decision to do one of the three (buy, sell, hold) is based on own investing profile...which in turn is based on personal belief system..from smart investing analysis..to witch doctor's sentiments!

Thus ur projection on centum as a buy needs abit more than "Buy-hold-sell principle".
