You better cut ua losses. Why would anyone be bothered with 10 cents. Most investors are interested in capital growth not dividends

Hahahaha. A ten cent dividend will push up the price to what.....???? From the first tym i came to know this company ,i was perusin their annual report, i hated it. Its like a primary school kid deep in the reserves in muranga district scribbled something and it became the co. Financial report. This company is too disorganised. I hav the feeling that the househelp is going to b appointed to the board soon coz the family is harzoudly runn this company.......

LOL... I have a mind to 'donate' 10 shares to every Wazuan who comments on this topic... so you can come with tomatoes to pelt the Board...

The chairman & CEO need to go...

Companies with disastrous results tend to announce their results on the final day deadline of reporting (some even later). Olympia, Barclays 1st Quarter, etc.
Do they think its going to make it any less worse for their stock prices, or what is their deal?

I am ashamed to say that I too bought into Olympia! And yes, I have learned my lesson. It now belongs in my 'junk stocks' category next to Eveready (which i also own!).
Tired of mediocrity. Am going to the very top!

@Richvee, wololo you own those two! You better sell them otherwise your name will change to Poorvee soon. I used to own both but sold at a loss long time ago, put the money into serious stocks. maybe you bought from me he he he.

You cant afford to buy a mandazi coz it costs more than Olympia shares... and a mandazi has a ready market...

Time to come clean on this one.

I had bought at 15.35 in June 08 when they were in an investment spree.

Then sold at 8.50 in July 09 when it became clear that they were headed nowhere.

I have never looked back and never regretted the decision!

I put the money into Eqty in the mid-teens and I am happy to report that I have recouped all the loss incurred through OCH.

Now let's move on....

Haiya-seems like all the so-called wazua ngreats have eaten solid manure from OCH.

There are two ways to trade in shares. based on information you know or knowing someone who knows. Always before you buy a share, find out who are the largest shareholders and put down some bullet points. Bahati is I've known/heard of Matu Wamae since I was old enough to understand Kenyan siasa. He bears close similarities to a poorman's Merali. The fruit never falls too far from the tree.

No & No...

I read some sort of restructuring is going on... No idea what... One of the directors resigned...

Anyway, without an AGM there can be no dividend...
