I see nothing wrong in suspending ongeri...

The crook even admitted to fiddling with allocation amounts...

aren't the polical theatrics of the weekend going to severely hurt the recent recovery of share prices at the NSE.What if the PM decides to pull off the government? Fresh elections and the related political risks !!

this country of ours is just sooo wierd... an election is held in 2007 and the only thing we hear about through out the term is the next election... no wonder foreigners dont stay for the long term...

but as many risks as there are kenya is one of those countries that is viewed as too big to fail by the G8 because of its position in East Africa.. so even if anything were to happen i wouldnt expect it to be permanent

RAO will not pull out of the coalition. He will fight from within until he achieves his goal.

@pound foolish... as warren buffet says... dont sit around waiting for dips because your wait may be in vain or it maybe very looonng... just shop around and look for stocks that are fundamentally cheap and get in....

with stocks its not about the right TIME to get in but rather the right PRICE!!!

You give this man too much clout. As my Pastor would say 'Kenya politics is one big soap opera'. When some big political news breaks out always look for what it's attempting to cover up.

We Kenyans have short memories. The PM theatrics have covered up the maize scandal which covered up the education scandal which covered Mau scandal which covered the 'computer error' which covered the Oil scandal which covered the Regency scandal which covered AngloLeasing which covered Ouko Murder which covered Goldenberg which covered the Mayors chain... The list is endless

There are two types of governments,The governments of law(e.g Western govts) and the governments of men/bastard governments(e.g most African govts) and until we get the former investing in the stock market will be like playing Russian roulette.

we kenyans should just act like real investors buy and hold for long term or until your specific goal is met then bail all you want (unless you are a fund manager)...

the more this jumping in and out keeps happening the more you lose and the more buying oppurtunities investors like me keep on having...

i'm toking to all those who bailed in 08 and 09 and are plannig to bail 2012..

I totally agree with 2012. This is a big coverup as I put it in another posts. Walukula wote. We are now focussed on the fight more than what was eaten.

Nope... he is not my MP... Didn't even vote for my money-grubbing MP... My choice was a reformer... but obviously that's not who the voters wanted...

35 stocks down. 5 (barely) up. Rest stagnant.
Demand is much lower than supply meaning prices will start falling further...
