@ mcreggae

The only credible senior (big shots) politician that i know of who has not prostituted so far is Uhuru Kenyatta. He entered politics with a KANU ticket more than 15 years ago and he is still with KANU. There could be others may be in smaller or insignificant parties/outfits whom i may have forgotten.

BTW i am not Isaac Ruto's PA,but an admirer of the way his UDM is causing ripples in the ODM. GO! GO! Isaac GO!

Come on Seg,Uhuru was in PNU the other day and do you really believe he is a big shot????

.......and I wondering how you have come up with this notion that UDM is causing ripples in ODM!!!!

@ mcreggae,

For your information mr Kenyatta started his political ascedancy just before 1992 when he bacame the KANU chairman in his current constituency,is it Gatundu South. That is just about the time the so called Young Turks issue started and saw the rise of William Ruto,Cyrus Jirongo,Isaac Ruto and others.

As for PNU this is an umbrella party comprising KANU,ODM-Kenya,FORD-Kenya,FORD-People,NARC-Kenya,Safina,DP,Shirikisho and others. The individual parties are very much alive and have not been dissolved.

If the ODM is not worried about UDM then why is the UDM entrance generating so much heat in the ODM power circles? just tell me.

@Segemia,

You have your facts right......Mcreggae may not know.UDM leaders are non Mpigs.A couple of the officials are civilians with clout amongst the Kalenjins and the current chair is a former army general.The Mpigs are being used as mouth pieces..........Second,can we say with certainity that the Luhyas (By this i mean the larger Kakamega and Busia) will not support one of their own come 2012?

@Segemia,
Your verbal Diarrhoea against ODM and raila has made your arguments subjective.its clear to me that you have beef with ODM and it's leadership.Why you have that beef is a matter that only u and UDM guys know.If you care to know,ODM or PNU leadership have no obligation to please anyone but themselves,once you appreciate that human beings are inherently self-centered,then you will stop holding brief for whomever you seem to be holding brief for.i feel Pitt and disgust at the same time for you

@ waswa

if i quote you 'Your verbal Diarrhoea against ODM and raila has made your arguments subjective. My friend,my post if you cared to read it carefully sought to explain why ODM influence in Rift Valley will not last in coming years when UDM gets the legs. It was actually meant to help the ODM hard liners like you to face the elephant in the room and not to draw daggers at shadows like you are doing now.

@ Njung'e

you are very right that the influential civilians in UDM will only be effective by conscripting the vocal mpigs. Very clever indeed. It will and it is working.

by the way Njung'e whom do you think our dear brothers in Western will go for this time round?

I agree with segemia re: the CSW modus operandi - I have always wondered why no one has pointed that out. Talking of non-slut MPs....I was talking to an askari yesterday who had just returned from somewhere in Kisii where Prof Ongeri is an MP. Its with this same askari that we had EXTREMELY heated arguements abt ODM and PNU. Anyhow,Prof Ongeri has ALWAYS been KANU. In 2002 he lost because everyone was ant-Kanu - an unfortunate thing that people were voting for parties and not individuals. Anyhow,he went again in 2007 on a KANU ticket and won. So,there - at least we have one non slut politician. Anyone else who has not been in a single party for more than 7 years - let them go to k-street come 2012. Better still,let the males amongst them go to San Francisco the city of brotherly love.

I lost track - the askari was full of praise for Prof Ongeri.

Segemia,

Raila and the whole bunch that left Kanu formed LDP before joining forces with NAK to form NARC. He was not Party-less.

Their will be no UDM come 2012 but a revamped KANU headed by the Mois. Uhuru will have been overthrown and nested at PNU. UDM is but a vehicle to lead North Rift Politicians back to KANU. It has already been purchased by KANU heavyweights. (YOu can take that to the Bank)

Remember that Saitoti is also banking on PNUs support for 2012 and there is no way He is going to step aside for Uhuru as 2012 will be his last chance.

PNU voters will have to decide between Saitoti,Uhuru,Martha and Kalonzo.

2012 will be about coalition politics so as much as you see doom in ODM,there is nothing to write home on PNU as we all know that all the parties that formed it are now out.

The segemia fellow is right about the 'political prostitution' executed by our current crop of leaders....i think saitoti has always been a KANU stalwart ever since he joined politics.

in a nutshell come 2012 no political party will be immune to defections and the most hard hit will be ODM....PNU is just a shell if the other parties go their way.
