Kenya Re opened an office in Zambia to cater for the southern African market.
They also have a retrocession agreement with South Africa allowing them to offer reinsurance in the country

Corporation is exploring opportunities in Southern Africa where in South Africa life insurance penetration is at 15% the highest in Africa

A report by Cytonn Investment puts Kenya Re Insurance in the top as far as franchise value rankings are concerned, while Sanlam Kenya has been ranked last.

Dubbed ‘Kenya’s Listed Insurance Companies analysis report’, the report put Jubilee Holdings second, Britam Holdings third and CIC Group fourth.

They are at position 8.

a good mgt thinking ahead.i hate these companies that fail to bridge their income streams.They relie on one way of revenue stream despite the tough economic situations.These results into volatile earnings yoy.
