If the same happened,would you borrow money from your pals to pay your rent and other bills? If you would,you need to plan your finances. Dont be a slave of the paycheck. just my thoughts..

Damn. if only they could have bonga points for all the tuskers consumed!! Iz it only me or what.The amount of money am sending to wedding harambees is just alot. what happened to AG's chambers and going to the chief. whoever came up with the notion that weddings shud have a cake,wedding dress whose cost is equivalent to a plot in Kitengela,and music by Kayamba afrika/ Kidum should be stoned!! ...If you havent found anything worth dying for...then you aint fit to live ......If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. Rank: Member Joined: 6/4/2007 Posts: 35		Hello, In the U.S it is a little different. By law,salaries are paid twice a month on the 1st and the 15th. So just using Kenya as an example,say you made KSH 25,000 per month,you would be paid 12.5K on the 15th and 12.5K on the 30th. It applies for junior and senior employees. So there is nothing like asking for an advance. Plus there is no crazy end-of-the-month rush. Just an opinion,do you think this should happen and work in Kenya too? Also,if we do away with pay at the end of the month only,then people like Ringera would resign much quicker instead of hanging on till pay day (September 30).

We are just but a mass of consumers,wholly dependent on the market system with its land,labour and money theory. We are a true representation of homo economicus - a generation of consumers- who must (i) be employed in the market (ii) earn market determined income (iii) pay market determined bills (iv) go to work again to repeat the same process. How can we get out of this bondage,return to our farms and be producers as well???? Slack and sleeping senses must be addressed with thunder and heavenly fireworks.

Its just me whatever choice you make in life make sure that you can live with it.
