It sounds very nice when those nice looking "middle class" kids speak very fluent kikuyu.

I have never understood these middle class parents who don't want to teach their kids the african culture.Mwana etage mburi, ngui.

Macharia has guts..let’s see how it works out. Including getting enough guys to advertise in the vernacular TVs , plus 24 hours run. Even CNN struggles with 24 hour runs.

Good part of it he is creating Jobs even for those walianguka Kisungu

when Rose started Kyuk Radio, we all wondered where she thought she'd get content for full day broadcast.

Because KBC vernacular radio was something like
5am-Kikuyu
7am-Kiembu
9am-Kimaasai
11am-Hindi

It was very limited!

But anyway, it's going to be tricky because they're vying for limited hours of TV watching unlike radio which has almost the entire day busy. TV for most is from 7pm -10

Mt kenya region has many SMEs that can sustain inooro if he can get the right rate card like 20000ksh per week ad aired daily prime time i.e before the big spenders come onboard
