20% seems quite sober. I dont think 40bob prediction will materialize this year. Classic example of value trap. This stock has been stuck at these levels for years

Robust demand on this counter,orders for over 7 million shares at around 19 at the end of trading and its price holding well in this baby bear...kuna nini?

The only thing I would consider very good news would be gava selling their stake, that would be interesting. Would fly bear or no bear

Whats fueling the mini rally in the midst of a bear? Am tempted to offload at 20 and lock my small gains. It could rescind back to 16

Cash-rich firms [or those that rake in cash] will do OK in a high interest rate environment.
Think Williamson which has insignificant debt but gets USD [tea prices +40% yoy] for its tea.
KenyaRe has a cash-rich balance sheet [31 Dec 2014 & 30 June 2015 results] with lots of GoK securities which they re-invest into GoK securities (or deposits) but at much higher rates.
