For the argument of averaging down i would wait until the real bear is in town to obtain KQ at its lowest. All the same this share requires a 5-10 year horizon to make worthwhile gains.
But my question is; Who do you reckon are the two major shareholders that the senate committee mentioned have been buying KQ shares in bulk as the price has been tanking??

IFC 143 million shares and KLM 348 million shares

COOP 70,000 ABP 15.20; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

was it two major shareholders or two individuals?
There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

It's much better to put you money in a firm that grows WITHOUT bailouts (or access to bailouts) vs one that can be lax thanks to (potential) bailouts.
The bailouts don't help shareholders because the cash goes to pay off [politically connected or voters] debts.

Stone cold silence from aly "rich" on KQ. To say he has been bullish on the share is to give bullish a bad name. Is he a relation of Obiero?

We are good friends but my ideas on KQ are independent. I still believe in the company as a whole and once the dust settles we shall be in the money, for now let me lick my wounds in peace :)

While shareholders suffer, Mr. Rich Satchu gets money from ads. And probably free tickets as part of KQ's marketing budget. I wonder if @obiero gets those perks too?

Is PWN still a large shareholder in KQ? The shareholder lists don't have him as a shareholder unless he owns them through nominees.
A pity PK didn't win, it would have saved KQ shareholders 45bn since 2012.
