@AlphDoti, please update yourself with the new Safcom rules and regulations on data bundles which strated on Monday this week before you go yapping!!!!!!!!!!

@Othelo ok I agree I'm not up to date. Sorry. But I'm not impacted yet. All my lines work well.

@kenmac, I've postpay bundle 1000. tell me the scenario I should try. How much should I sambaza?

Try to sambaza more than 10 MB at ago. Try to sambaza more than 20 MB in a day. Try to sambaza whatever MBs (even 5) more than twice a day! Hujuma!!! And they are your bloody MBs!!!! Bought and paid for!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@Alph, buy the monthly bundle for 1000. You get 2gb, and 2gb bonus usable between 10pm and 6 am. Try a 10mb sambaza and update how it goes. My response has consistently been " Sorry, your balance is insufficient to complete your sambaza request". even after the 36mb okoa bundles.

How much does it cost to unlock a Safaricom modem? Where? I want to move to Airtel ASAP - atleast for my laptops.

I could buy an Airtel modem but no need to have two Safcom modems lying around in the house.

Why not buy a MiFi ?You can use on any network as long as the sim is data enabled, can support many users via wifi.

Post the model of the modem and will advice if it can be unlocked.

Else, just buy a cheap smartphone and use it for wi fi in the house.

Depending on the model and your patience you could do that from home. There are simple softwares available that can do that job.

Viber, Skype and Whatsup are some of the reasons why suffering-con is mean with their data. With voice revenues stagnating and data growing at an exponential rate, they had to take the untimely drastic action.

They know Kenyans have peculiar habits - soon they will rescind the expiry decision
