True, @fikira. But what's the argument in this case? That the woman died because of her greed? If that's what many are saying then I disagree. The rationale of getting an older man with money is common across cultures.
The problem here is that she fell in the hands of an abusive man through Facebook. That is, the issue here is how human dynamics have been complicated by high interconnectivity and the acute need for each to understand the challenges and dangers that lurk.
Tell tale signs exist but the overwhelming desire for material things make us blind. The age gap is also worrying because her experiences and desires as a young woman did not match those of an old man.
What do you discuss together? where do you hang out? do you feel comfortable in the company of his aged friends? how abt your friends in his company.
You walking with a guy and people ask if he's your sponsor?
It's stressful trying to sustain this and so it leaves provision as the only bonding factor.
