I placed by sale order with D&B on Wednesday @15.5 the sale had not gone through yesterday (Thursday)

Today in the morning as I logged in to cancel the sale order- Someone in DB had happily executed my sale order to gain from the new information. Sad for me.

Blame yourself!!! The system is online! Why didn't you cancel yesterday or at night?? Take responsibility - your investments your responsibility!

@Maichblack...I was behind news abit, was just flipping my business daily in the morning (9.30Am) then I logged in to cancel the order and only to see that, DB must have executed as their first business in the morning. Talk of being happy of someone woes! Mark you, they executed it using the lowest price at the time. The rest is history they say.

Pole my brother/sister. But D & B don't manually interfere with your orders. Orders auto renew every morning and go straight to the market. Even if D & B had not opened today, your shares could still have been sold.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

These fellows are VERY mean with dividends. They could have easily done 1/=. That is 30% of EPS. They can retain 70% for development, expansion, upgrades etc. They need money yes, but they also need to balance. If they needed to retain the money so much, they could have given bonus shares. That is how you pay investors without 'paying' them. Those who need money can sell the bonus share. It also increases shareholders [tangible/directly accessible] wealth without starving the company of cash!

For dividends i think Kengen could be more rewarding. It was so predictable that kenyapowerless could hardly pay more that 50cts per year. Which makes Cables being discussed elsewhere a better investment. But then nobody minds the share price inching to 20 once again.

@mwekezaji - if it closes above 16 that means we have a nice support base between 12.50 and 15.00. I don't expect those prices to trade again in the near future...

@Boris - when did you boarded this mbus smile

So current passengers are @stocksmaster, mwekezaji, hisah, boris etc. @aguy I'm still holding your ticket though at a hiked price from today, still time to board. Otherwise we keep loading baggage in the TPS mbus for the next trip smile

How is it that, one can warn the market is on a downward trend and hype a counter, in the same breathe?

@mukiri. it's simply because of the value. there are still a few shares that are trading at a price lower than in the previous bear market. Tps is one of them
