It is Gods fault. He made that moment so sweet. If only he had made it painful so that people have to think hard about doing it. Or if he had put a sharp object inside the punani that a pierces a mans penis if pregnancy is to result. The injury to the penis takes 9 months to heal and in that time he cannot put it in any other punani.

God made male and female. one has socket and the other has plug. You can't blame God for making the landing sweet. God gave morals and values. God made marriage, even birds and animals know. But man with brain has trashed these morals and values, and said as long as these people have consent. Man has allowed men to dig into sewage. Now women are getting children from any Tom, Dick and Harry, no responsibility at all.

We need to put down morals and values and consequences for violation.

Without that, forget it. The world will continue sinking into further and deeper decay!

For me, this where the solution starts from: responsibility and clear roles for man and woman.

Let me tell you the position of women in Islam: men have their rights and women have their rights.

The Quran says men have a degree above women.

You see he's the bread winner. If there's an extra responsibility put upon an individual, naturally he has extra powers. In others words there's no society, even in Western countries, if man leaves his wife, he's arrested and made to pay maintenance. But if the case in reversed, they don't catch the woman and make her pay maintenance for the man.

So it's natural, the man is bread winner, he has responsibility and has a degree above the woman. There's no such thing as absolute equality.

But actually, the woman rules the home. If she treats her man well, she can ask anything and she will get. The French say women can do anything because they govern those govern. You see this in Obama and wife country, you can see this here back home, even in my own house. Shakespear says, woman she stoops to conquer.

But now when the woman wants to compete with man, you can see all the problems this is creating. It's creating all the problems.

So in Islam, both have their rights. Men have their rights, and women have their rights. But they are not absolutely equal. In the eyes of God, they are equal, but in the social matters for example man can have more wives, but wife cannot have four husbands. If you want equality, the woman also wants four husbands, well you try and see what happens.

Ahaaa, so now you hide behind the 'Kenya will burn crap'?? Kenya will not burn because we are making fun of some woman who emailed her kid to the Father (at least she did not throw the kid into a pit latrine or abort). Kenya will burn in part because some like you have an ingrained victim mentality. You see enemies everywhere even when none exist.

This is just a funny (and creative) story - I am glad it has a good ending and the child was not harmed.

I wish you well with your tunamalizwa mentality

@muriel what will happen about what? About women taking up more men? Lack of ownership will increase, who will be the father of the child? Many cases of child-neglect, hence child-mailing will happen.

Anyway this are signs of social dis-function. Citizens for some reason, they are not appreciating the challenges in life.

You see children don't come by themselves, they are part of unit called family. So dis-function inside of a family, through various issues. Maybe isolation, or lifestyle ... You see children are the by-products of that. It's like in a house where people smoke cigarette, even those who don't smoke get second-hand smoke.

To be fair most people are wonderful people, raising good families, but people are not speaking about what is good. They are also not talking about what is bad. They see bad/evil and they just don't talk about.

I'm not blaming, but I'm saying if people were fair and find solutions and apply them. And concerning this social problem of children outside marriage, I think young people bear this responsibility. The others who bear this responsibility are the adults, the parents. Currently many adults are in denial, blaming the children, and children at some point realize they are not all to blame, then they turn and blame the parents. SO we get parents and children blaming each other. Then we get confrontations and polarization. And guess who comes in between? The media and businessmen who take advantage of this social dis-function.

So who suffer the most in this kid of mess? The children. Parents already have their culture & experience & maturity to fall back on.

The children don't understand the cultural dynamics. They don't appreciate it because they don't have that level of maturity. What they understand is what the society shows them, what the media tells them and through experiments. So without the truth, many makes wrong choices.

So that wrong choice, impacts on the rest of the life, and the next generation... until you see homeless children, street children, unmarried women of all types.

So for me, if parents were honest, having realistic discussions, talk moral, talk ethics, talk straight.

But not those Maina Kageni stuff!!!

For example in legal problem, if you lie to your lawyer, then what will happen is the attorney will arrive at wrong decision! Also, if you're not honest with your doctor, the medicine he is going to give you is not going to help you, instead it might harm you.

If people get into discussions to arrive at real problems, then they can get to real solutions...

The biggest problem is the mentality of the people!

And just as that story in the Bible where they wanted to stone the adulterous woman, focus is fully on the evil woman, forgeting that behind every abandoned baby there is an irresponsible man, and a woman. Now this particular one could have abandoned many more. Look at his irresponsible comment below.

Quote:
In an incident that has left many in Nyeri town puzzled, a woman this afternoon tagged her baby with the name and phone number of the alleged father and dumped the baby where the man works. The man says it is possible the baby is his, but he can’t exactly remember who or where the mother is.

You are still in your extended honeymoon so you dont understand what one-night stands entails; on that I forgive you and call the man irresponsible.
