The foundation of all Christianity is the Catholic faith!

How can one deny worshiping statues and at the same time accept the concept of trinity that was introduced by the same same Catholics??

it was not the 'catholics' but rather the council of nicea!

The Council was set because of the rise in Arianism!

So let's get this straight..

A Christian teacher said that God was greater than Jesus and he was labelled a heretic but a pagan emperor decrees that a trinity exists and he is embraced by all Christians Sad

These threads of Islam vs Christianity are usually a theatre of the the absurd. Poking holes in each other's religion doesn't make one better off and another worse off. It gets you nowhere. Let everyone believe their God and let everyone wait for the judgement. At the end of it all, it won't matter what religion you are.

THEY DID NOT INTRODUCE!!

I know that's what they've rammed into you but:

Thomas said to Jesus in Jn 20: 28: ‘My Lord and my God!’

In Mtt 28:9, the women who saw Jesus
clasped at his feet and worshipped him

Finally in Matthew 28:16
Quote:
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

@Lolest! As long as you call yourself a Christian you are of Catholic teaching!

It was the same same Catholics who approved the verses you are quoting!

Why is it only the risen Jesus who accepts to be worshiped?? I thought it was only unclean spirits that used to worship Jesus when he was alive??

Actually it will matter very much..

Those who rejected Christ will have to answer as well as those who rejected Muhammad!

Jesus said: "The only way to heaven is to know the One God and all his messengers Jesus included"

You can't be rejecting messengers of God and expect heaven!

Thankfully we know to reject the Christian slayer because his teaching contradict Christ!

How come they forgot to remove some parts which are offending to their faith?

Acts 1
Quote:
Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day’s walk[c] from the city. 13 When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Mary was there worshiping WITH them, they didn't pray and worship THROUGH her! That shoots down Mary's worship! Why didn't they remove that?

That's what happens when the hand of man gets into God's Word!

You can only end up with inconsistencies and contradictions! Sad

But the fact will always remain the first Christians and compilers of the Bible were Catholics and all you believe has its origins from them!

So as a protestant why protest some things and accept others!?? and what criteria is used to accept or protest??

Arius did not differ with the doctrine of the trinity per se but opined that the Son was created at some point before the world was created and thus wasn't really eternal.

Which is why the Nicene creed has the words 'begotten not made'.

@g267, hapo sema tu umeshikwo!! If Catholics cooked the scriptures as we know them, they could've expunged that! Or the other part where Jesus simply calls him woman in John 2

Quote:
When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

4 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

No amount of emotions will deny historical fact!

History says all protestants came from Catholics!

And there was a Bible long long before there was ever a protestant!

So the fact states that your Bible and basic beliefs were compiled by Catholics!!

Because in christianity, we believe Jesus is God the Son. That's why He's the Messiah.

the origin of protestanism is clear my sister. What I'm showing you is that what that guy told you that they altered scripture is false. If it was true, they should have altered that!

The alterations are there because the same Gospels will also tell you Jesus is just a prophet.

The human ability to corrupt a text perfectly is limited at best!

Now back to protestants! How is possible to protest Catholic teachings and at the same time accept the Scriptures they compiled?
