is it me or the racism seems to be on the rise @ akina Kiash. does it have to do with Obama being president and empowering many blacks or what?

Racism has increased dramatically since Obama was elected. There are people who grew up saying that a black man would never be elected during their lifetimes. These people are now resentful and are lashing out. The tea party movement is largely made of people who cant stomach the fact that a black man is the leader of the western world.

Obama is no more black than he is white.

Tell that to the rednecks. They see him as black. Plus Obama identifies himself as black.

Thats true. Kenyans have no leg to stand on when talking about racism. Kenya's tribalism is worse. No one is elected on merit of ideas in Kenya.

people need to remember that "your rights end where mine begin" there is no such thing as tribalism in voting as it's a personal choice based on whatever metrics the vote owner deems fit. however tribalism rears it's head when you are hiring for professsional positions i.e. jobs. you need to remember that we don't elect leaders but rather representatives - they are to 'represent' us.

@Masukuma, what of the statement 'kura zetu tukiongeza na zao'?
Msigawe kura, piga vile mmekuwa mkipiga kura kama kawaida?
The whole election thing is based on tribalism whichever way you would like to phrase it unless if its semantics you are talking about.
If so, then the statement would have been Kenyans vote along tribal lines and its also a personal choice

Yani huko "Choices have consequences" actually applies. Though I have a feeling they punished him so as to look good but in private that's the way they also reason ie like him, after all birds of a feather...The only error Donald did was to be known in the public that he did it.

Private conversation with public consequences. And if he felt so strongly about blacks why was he having a black girlfriend? Of course majority of her circle of friends and acquaintances would be black. He has paid a very high price.

Those People... If i can call them that

Been to places where they innocently just wanted to feel my hair..or my skin.. And Kids would try to rub the dirt off my skin... I let them...and had a hearty laugh.

And been to places where i found the likes of this Guy..racists. Haters. I let them be too, as long as we didnt cross paths. And I just liked their awkward looks and hesitance when they just had to deal with me wapende wasipende.

My funniest moments...a chinese guy boasting off to his friends for having me as a friend.... and being treated like a King.
