It's already a confirmation.France Telecom are pulling out of Telkom Kenya.Wamechoka an wameona hawawezi hack

So, is it that they want someone else (partner) to come in and inject the much needed MONEY, or is it that they want to "cut their losses and RUN like never before!"? Which is which?

Au revoir Orange.
Knock hard and it will be opened. Ask and you will be answered. Seek and you shall find.

Orange Kenya up for sale.

http://mobile.nation.co....l/-/hopywo/-/index.html

Quote:
Depending on how the negotiations between France Telecom and the new buyer progress- the French investors could be out of the company by June 2014.

France Telecom owns 70 per cent of shares in the
company. The government is the other shareholder with a 30 per cent stake.

Well-placed sources exclusively told the Nation that the French had informed the government that they intended to enter into a transition agreement with the new buyers to ensure that the change in ownership was smooth and to maintain the quality of service to subscribers.

Now I see why the turbo trade on mpesa bank last Friday.

This orange kenya is such an enron only political will can force the skeletons out of the closet (expose the corrupt shadow masters and force a default and wind down). Waiting to see who's inheriting the skeletons and how long they'll take in water before selling out to the next sucker...

sadly I dumped Mpesa at sub 5, after several years of painfully holding on. Lady luck is such a B!

Isn't that just delightful...
for subscriber,
for the market,
for the regulator,
for Kenya.

Appreciate Safaricom, but even the best animal can tip the balance of nature.

Infrastructure set up costs my friend. Its easier to work with a going concern.

Just wondering does GOK have pre-emptive rights?
