Whenever I see the advertisement, my mind immediately conjures "The Symbolist(s)".

The golf players tip toe off and jump onto the golf cart and drive away as you are putting.

The three "colleagues?" at the photocopier will not accept your tissue yet they need it.

The dancers will not allow you to dance near them. I love the way the ladies twirl their dresses.

You smell.

That is what Citizens of Virtual Republic are saying.

Would you like to take a vote on this?

Ponder that if you will.

Everything smells Mathenge. Smelling good, smelling bad, all depends on the nose. So you might as well ask those with your kind of nose to line up behind so that I can know how many they are.

No. We are all (other than yourself and co.) just tired of long obfuscated posts. In this thread, you can have the freedom of being all that you can be.

@Tycho et al, 99% of the time, I don't understand what you post.

Thought i was alone, I stopped reading what they write unless its two lines, i normally wait for someone to quote what they have written to understand or get some inference...

Sad

Dont worry, same reason some of us opted out of those history classes, too much literature...

I wonder what % of this is understandable. I hope someone, will interpret it for me!!!

At some point, YOU will want to protect your progeny but YOU will require a womb for this.

This thread is all the wombs screaming: Not mine.

Stop the bad, nay, offensive "smell".

During the French revolution, Marie Antoinette is said to have wondered why the citizens were rioting,...she was duly informed that it is because they don't have bread. She retorted - 'why don't they eat cake?'.
Actually, there is controversy whether she actually said this, but the import is very apt here.

Yes its within the realm.

Its also descriptive of an internal turmoil that disrupts continuity.

You can have continuity without contradiction but can you have progress without contradiction?

Progress requires knowledge. Aversion to knowledge or where its wont to be found exemplified by self contradiction contradicts progress.

Knowledge implies to know and not to know.It sets the stage for contradiction so as far as one doesn't contradict the the pursuit and application of knowledge progress is inevitable.

I both hate and love contradiction.I find contradiction everywhere but I view it as matter of perspective. What do you mean by the 'ease of self contradiction'?

Yes, contradictions are everywhere eg here. I love it for the opportunity it presents for review but hate it for the annoyance it brings interrupting consistency. It is a short cut, a lazy cut, to logic.

Its more convenient, hence ease, than a more elaborate mental activity.
