Applause Applause interesting!!

The current EAC population is around 140million people. Less than 1 country-Nigeria! Our combined GDP is also less than Nigeria's GDP. Actually EAC's combined GDP is roughly a third that of Nigeria!

We really need Tz. Her population of close to 50m is EAC's largest! This could make good market for goods provided in other EAC countries. Educated Tanzanians should benefit also from jobs in other countries within the bloc. Let's not forget the natural resources that Tz is very blessed with.

But Ndugu zetu Watanzania are fearful and hateful of their brothers in the bloc. Kwanza ndugu Wakenya! Everything evil is compared to us. And they are fearful we will take over their land-a resource which is still largely held by communities. You guys might also take over their jobs!

I once had a chat with a TZ Foreign Ministry official. He told me they aren't against EAC but they have fears esp concerning land. Infact, in his opinion, the EAC is the only true economic bloc with tangible benefits when compared to SADC and COMESA. But then you wonder why it doesn't feel like they're serious with it...even on simple issues like labour movement!

This is why you must feel Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda...I do not know this for sure but I have a feeling that they could be planning to restructure EAC membership in a way that it would move northwards i.e. include South Sudan,Sudan Ethiopia(population 85m) and Somalia.

The beautiful girl in the region though is DRC. Everybody wants her

People do make fatal mistakes that come to haunt them later....

Immediately after swearing in of the 4th PORK UK, RAO shouted at the top of his voice and at a roof top that he would not take any job offered to him by the president...

Why is he now saying that he is ready to take an appointment by Uhuru, yet nothing has changed since then????He shot himself on the foot!...Ama desperation has started to bite???

Infact if I were Uhuru, if the need arose, I would appoint Kalonzo Musyoka

I am no politician young man and neither do I subscribe to anything government except her services...

Now, I know the truth about what your man was shouting about is really hard for you to swallow, but again who cares...he said himself then under no duress, why the about turn now???

I can guarantee you one thing nevertheless...that the EAC activities are being led and executed by the heads of states. Therefore, you can rest assured that any mediators needed shall be appointed and agreed upon by all the five heads of EAC states...

Sadly your man stands no chance....really!!!

How many Tznians are "educated"? About population, what is the population of Singapore/Tiwan/Hong Kong/South Korea etc? Did their "small" populations stop them from advancing?
We need Tz but with them not wanting us [Ke,Ug &Rw], we are left with no choice but soldier on.

Their pessimism and paranoia will drag the whole bloc.

Rwanda is supossed to be the most fearful but they aren't. They are reaping benefits of their fearlessness.

We don't have the leadership qualities and work ethics the countries you have mentioned posses. We are a population based continent, that's why companies like Ethiopia despite it's almost closed economy.
