Guarded optimism. November is usually the gunners achilles heel. Frozen pitches affect passing game and injuries pile up.

...The excitement of Arsenalis is tantamount to a village girl who climaxes to cloud 9 with joy upon merely hearing that she will be bought a new dress and then travel to the city for the first time. I sense FANTASY here.

Shame on you Shame on you I don't think we've ever choked in November labda Liverpool. I also can't remember the last time we had such a strong start to a season. We usually drop a lot of points at the start especially against the so called "small teams". In 07/08 We were destined for glory but after Eduardo had that nasty leg injury the team just collapsed. At that time we had a very inexperienced young squad, most of our players were a bit weak and got bullied all over the pitch. You cannot compare our squads then with what we have now, Carzola who was arguably our best player last season is not even being missed.

I believe you have settled on November because that's when we'll start playing L'pool, Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea. I think the toughest period is usually around Jan/Feb/March when you have to deal with FA, CL, EPL and probably Carling cup fixtures on a weekly basis.

@ MADE....I honestly believe the reason why as Arsenal fans we are so excited is because Man Utd wako number 12. Tulikuwa tumechoka na makelele yenyu kila season about Arsenal. Btw where is @Mwenza, ama anagoja tushindwe ndio aanze pang'ang'a.

This fantasy is better,i guess, than waking up in the middle of a night soaked in sweat from a dream which shows your team one rang below Cardiff, only to realise it's TRUE!

@TAZ..So you are laughing at the slip-up of your opponent and NOT coz of your own temporary success!!
@Chief...''Arsenal were runners up again in 2003, despite leading the table for much of the season''(end of quote)
