let us be practical...if it were a place like nairobi most of the women would end up paying rents themselves...why??? the ratio of women to men is about 4:1 and the men are calling the shots because of high demand...ni haki yao!!that is the kenyan scenario, i dont know about togo.

...lack of sex always kills all the time....you know men have always killed other men because of women...not because the men want to sit with women on the opposite side and crack jokes and laugh...hapaaana!!!

Yaani Kaigangio you couldn't desist from mentioning rent?
What is the big deal with women paying rent anyway? Tuko wengi.
Can u imagine what impact getting rid of a tired prezzo would, have as compared to a simple one week of abstinence.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
These togo men have refused to be activists.
The women are trying to stir them up to action.

Please remind me,what were the kenyan women up in arms against? cz mehn! don't we have activists? One male kenyan activist is enough for togo.I can bet that.

you see @ essyk there is a difference between political and matrimonial arenas....

in politics as a woman, you can go say anything do anything and even think anything since you are not tied by anything...most of the women politicians who were once married are found here..

in matrimony you are bonded to the vows that you made during your union with your hubby...so you just cant wake up one day and foolishly heed the calls by those women who destroyed their marriages through politics...you try it and you will sing the no 27 song...

as much as possible yes...if experience is anything to go by then just look at the kenyan political landscape and you will see that my conclusion is not far fetched...

@Kaigangio take a good example at Rwanda Parliament.

Kenya politics and politicians are nothing to write home about.Noise makers.
Dwelling on trivial matters instead of real issues.
I aspire to be a politician but never in my country. So I will never be.
Being a hero doesn't pay either. You die before ur time or get forgotten fast.
I can never risk taking to the street either to voice my opinion cz I an not ready to die.
And those I die for will not even clothe me in old age.
