They’ve changed their mind, so I’ll stick with them (and not through an agent). This whole saga has made me realize that my relationship with CFC is very shaky

They only changed their minds in as far as Online trading is concerned. but the agency still remains..if you dont have OST then u still have to sign consent to one of the agents..

And if you have OST and wish to go through the agents' door, still you are free to sign the consent form and the process will be effected.

Why would anybody want to go through an agent when CFC doors are open?

I have the same problem. For the past month, I haven't logged even once. Those password changes are so many to memorize unless one is a daily trader...always blocks the account trying to memorize them.

The mail is a reaction to stop exodus but reading it keenly it lacks details and doesnt confirm that...
1. they have backed off
2. once registered online you will deal through CFC not agents
3. when selling you may or may not be asked to collect your cheque from the agent (meaning you register, through arm twisting).

I also received the email on OST. Looks like someone is reading Wazua at CFC because the turn-around was quite fast.

nevertheless there is still a cloud hanging over the whole saga.

Geghis you are so quiet, customers are crying out.

Thats what they communicated to me. I found myself asking the very question you've asked me!
Anyway, for them who prefer agents to cfc,let them do as they please. Its their hard earned piece of cake they are exposing to the flies!(my opinion).

If one so wishes. Consent gives cfc the go-ahead to effect the transfer.
