I really cannot understand what cfc management is thinking ?
Delegating such a vital part of the business to some make shift agents somewhere is a bad business plan .

@QW I think so too. They need to clearly tell their retail customers what services are being out sourced. These Centsavvy etc mey end up being the Nyagas and Discounts of tomorrow.

I also got the email. How do i trust my cash with agents. No sure way of doing this.

What is the legal relationship supposing I use the agents. The Principal should be liable but we know what happened when Brokers like Solid Investments sold to NIC Capital. Those who were defrauded by Agents of Solid were told to make their claims to NIC. NIC, of course did not take responsibility

Will cfc be liable for any misdeeds on the part of the agents or am I just on my own? better talk to the investor compensation fund, but they will only pay you a maximum of KShs 50,000 regardless of what you lost.

These are serious questions. Nothing to add

unless the loyalty ends in 2005.

I have been with them since 2006. They had an office in Eldoret then, that has since been closed.

Did you update your KYC status?

If one uses ATLite does one still need these agents? The only physical contact I have been having with the brokers is when i need to be paid, otherwise the system can work for me.

@Gatheuzi that is where the problem lies. If CSFS is going to tell their customers to go to the Agents to be paid, if the agents are going to have access to clients' funds, then IKO CHIDA.

Very true my brother. Can you imagine going thru a discount securities experience? obviously we have no capacity to conduct due diligence on the agents.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
