They’ve changed their mind, so I’ll stick with them (and not through an agent). This whole saga has made me realize that my relationship with CFC is very shaky

[/quote] Here's the e-mail that i received after i sent them an e-mail telling them i don't want to transfer to an agent. Dear Customer Our communication on the recent review of our business model refers. Since you are already registered on our Online Share Trading platform, you are not required to sign the consent form. However, should you wish to change your point of transaction from this to either CentSavvy Investments Ltd or Investax Capital Ltd, then please state your preferred customer contact point on the form and return it to us duly completed to facilitate your request. Please be advised that we have upgraded and renamed our website to:-www.cfcstanbic.co.ke To register for Online Share Trading, please Visit our website on http://www.csfs.co.ke/activelite/ and Click on the hyperlink labeled “New User Registration”. For queries on the web interface kindly send an e-mail to ost@stanbic.com Knowledge is contagious...Infect truth!

The mail is a reaction to stop exodus but reading it keenly it lacks details and doesnt confirm that... 1. they have backed off 2. once registered online you will deal through CFC not agents 3. when selling you may or may not be asked to collect your cheque from the agent (meaning you register, through arm twisting).

I also received the email on OST. Looks like someone is reading Wazua at CFC because the turn-around was quite fast. nevertheless there is still a cloud hanging over the whole saga. Geghis you are so quiet, customers are crying out. Life is short. Live passionately.

Why would anybody want to go through an agent when CFC doors are open? Thats what they communicated to me. I found myself asking the very question you've asked me! Anyway, for them who prefer agents to cfc,let them do as they please. Its their hard earned piece of cake they are exposing to the flies!(my opinion).
