@ Obi 1

Shak could be right. A half brother who can't step foot in britain. Another one arrested with bhangi in Nairobi,an aunty facing deportation and who knows who else. This could be the relas Shak could have been reffering to and not others. BBC has been having a field day.

It is also too early in the day. The guy has to be seen in good light for the time being until he knows he is secure. After that he will visit our country. A visit now might hurt his image.

As for the Mathenge issue as I understand from my friend, the point was to parade a general from a certain area so us to claim credit for the mau mau struggle excluding other members of the same community from different areas. The same with the Kimathi statue and search for his grave.

That supposed General Mathenge visit was such a fiasco.
I remember at Jkia Koigi tried to chat him up in Kikuyu, and the fellow didnt have the foggiest idea. He just stared at him and grinned sheepishly.
At that point they should have seen the plot for what it was,a con affair.

Obama understands his people and appreciates all the challenges that they have to deal with. Some are purely as a result of environment of birth and socialisation.
I dont think he should be embarassed by family.
However some of the deeds of Kenya's politicians may may leave him with a feeling of let down.

@Shak

You are the one who came up with the stupid idea that his relatives will embarass him, when you get one back, you scream tirbal this, tribal that.

Ama you wanted us to laugh about it.

@Fundamentali/B.Timer,what was the story behind the story on General Ayanu/Mathenge. I just thought it was over exuberance by the new MK government.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

My statement had nothing to do with tribe but with the conduct of some of his relatives as one person has adeptly put it. It's a pity that you chose to take the statement so personally. Take a chill pill

You think its any better because you referred to his relatives.

I don't think his relatives have embarassed him, everybody is living their own lives, moreso a kenya struggling in Huruma and a US senate/president. Besides Obama has stated that he did weed at some point in his life so it must run in the family.

No siting US president has ever visited Kenya.
If they did the disruption to East and Central African commercial hub would not be worth it. Ama hamini wakenya, we can do an abracadabra on Airforce 1
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.
