I want to enrol my kid at St. Bakhita this coming January but have been informed that the class is already full. I am on the waiting list. Very discouraging indeed. Anyone have any idea of another one(kindergarten) in the Buruburu, South B, South C area?

Many years later i went to those areas and found that all the bushes/land has been subdivided and all guys are hanging on their title deeds....Where do you want my child to do those things. We only live in a gated community where no kid speaks vernacular and when my freiky pricks another kid their parents bring me more problems than i have ever had. In our time if i beat other kids i was referred as the hero of the village and all the small girls wanted to be around me for protection. Let me take him to school How soon can someone start looking for a school? Kenya ni yetu sisi sote

Times have truly changed but even as you look for a school please look for a school with more playground and playthings than books. Let there be few teachers and many kids and if you find one that gives homework to a 3 year old run away from that school. Good luck. @Kusadikika. I couldn't agree more. Mine ain't going to school until 4 years. In the meantime, I'm still searching for that rather elusive no-homework-for-toddlers school on mombasa road.

Rank: Veteran Joined: 8/25/2012 Posts: 1,826		this "private" "good" school thing is making a fool out of many people, take your child to the nearest public school, especially in Nairobi, the public/council schools are good enough. unless you are rich or ... enough to hand hold your kid throughout life, then you are much better of in the public school - especially of you would like them to join a public high school, with all the quotas in admission you will be lucky if your kid manages to get into a decent high school from an academy
