In this era of internet who is still using FAX

Arrogant but stupid question.

Makes me wonder too - In this era of Internet who can still not know the importance of fax? FYI fax is still widely in use even for those with email. You can find out why from your Internet.

@G.G, too many theories about a single product... here's what this agent told me, the guys who bought these T1 decoders back then @ Ksh5000 (l think) r actually the ones who'll get their's replaced with T2 decoders when it hits the market. But for the rest of us who r currently getting them for free... when T2 arrives u will've to buy it and not get a replacement like the guy who actually bought one!!!

Most of these agents, imagine, won't tell u about T1 or T2 decoders unless u initiate that topic.

Since we have acquired them for free, even though they dont seem to have the capacity to activate the decorders in good time, when time comes to replace them I dont think it will be a bad idea paying for new one (T2).And maybe then there will be many options/Varieties available in the market. I however think that the switch to digital TV can not be 2012, Kenya is not ready and we will surely have to wait looooooooooooooooonger........

The switch will occur at 2012 no doubt.

Why are KTN, Citizen, Kiss-TV etc on the DVB-T platform? They actually used to be there in the signal distributed by Signet [owned by KBC]. When Smart TV came, the complained that their content had been given to a 3rd party without their consent and withdrew their signal. I was among the 1st people to buy the set-top boxes when they were introduced in January 2010 and it used to be fantastic.

All is not lost...CCK will this month [June 2011] announce two more signal distributors to compete with Signet and I hope by the end of the year we'll have great things.
