I am now almost sure Triza Njeri killed Wanjiru.

Wanjiru was supposed to be in training camp the day he died. Why was he not there? The wife LIED to his coach that she was sick and wanted her husband close to her, so that the Olympic champion could get permission to travel home on Sunday. What's more, she agrees that she LIED in order to get Wanjiru home but its because they were finalizing plans for dowry payment in August. August!!! Which is three months away and yet was to be in training only for this month! What was the hurry for? And coincidentally he dies the same day he got home after the wife lied to get him there?

Wanjiru Must Have Been Murdered By Triza Njeri

Not so fast. We know Wanjiru fell but he died in hospital while being attended to. Since when did lying mean one is a murderer?

On her part Triza Njeri maintains she is the only legal wife and that by the time of his death Wanjiru had fully transferred the Nairobi home under her name.

"I am the only legal wife, the other two women just want to spoil my husband’s name" she said.

"I am even the only one recognized by law for the property in Nyahururu, Nairobi and Nakuru" said Triza.

"The property belongs to my two children who I have now been left with the responsibility of taking care of. The rest who claim to have his children are just out to stress me" she said.

Eiish Triza, are we talking about Wanjiru's death or his property?

@MaichBlack this Trizah sure does come out as really money minded. I read that and was surprised that at this point in time her fixation seem to be on the property left by Wanjiru. Since she exploded onto the public eye she has been rather too vocal about money matters. If that statement was in answer to a specific question to her she ought to have at least declined to comment on it. She does not come across as a sharp tool either.

It is also disturbing that in her mind she does not want the other children to benefit from their father`s sweat. Thankfully the law is clear on that and hopefully all his dependants will be taken care of.

@ yesuwangu & elder

if 3za is as innocent as you potray her to be why would she be so desperate to get the husband home using a bait (lying that she was sick) if she did not have anything up her sleeve? this in itself is very telling...

what i think...she probably thought that the athlete would be home in nyahururu over the weekend when the execution had been planned to take place...unfortunately his coach had decided to extend the training program...so the only way she could have gotten wanjiru from the hands of the coach was to lie to him (coach)...3za has still not said anything to the effect that she tried to pull the same on wanjiru himself...

i am looking at the issue from an investigators point of view...

...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

What if Wanjiru was planning to leave Triza and she knew it? Probably Wanjiru had told her himself. Knowing very well that she is not legally married to him even by customary law she knew the best she would get was child support and that is assuming she got custody of the kids in the first place! Now assuming Wanjiru was to leave the country immediately after training, Triza must have known she had a very small window to murder him. By the time he came back, it would already be public that they were no longer together. Only option left? Get him home by using lies!

some other questions i have been having are:

a)The soldier knowing who pays him a salary ,was not surprised when Trizah turned up at the house late at night. In normal circumstances he would at least have warned his boss.

b)So Kamau knew his wife was coming, he didn't ask his watchie if she had been sighted at or near the house?Triza says she was having dinner at a friends place nearby....

c)Nduta appear and says Wanjiru was arguing with his wife from the balcony, then Wanjiru tells her go back to the bedroom and five minutes later there are screams and the watchie tells her angalia chini...and there lies Samuel. How now does one behve so casually ukijua your boss is injured and his being alive ensures you get your daily bread.

d)The mother to Samuel stays just a few meters from her house,no one saw it fit to run to her house for help?

e)Wanjiru's Prado was parked just below the balcony he fell from,it makes more sense to jump on the hood of your car, alafu get to ground level.

f)Between the time Wanjiru and Triza were arguing and the time Nduta was asked to go back to the bedroom and the screams,Nduta says was five minutes.Triza did not hear this screams on her way out to call the police?

Probably these questions are as a result of too much CSI but everyone story so far has got too many holes.Everyone needs to provide a solid alibi to eliminate doubt over this sad affair.

This just in. The CCTV cameras were on standby mode on the fateful day! How convenient. For Triza that is! Anyone who still needs convincing that Wanjiru was MURDERED???
