I have an office where I used to use Zain. I am planning on installing Zuku there and watch Tangerine and Zuku in parallel and make a decision. I will keep all posted. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

So far Tangerine at home has not been a bad experience, been down for very short amounts of time, speed is stable at 256k but I havent downloaded anything big yet. Will try so this weekend. BUT THEY NEED TO WORK ON PRICING!!! Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

Thanks for the 411. As you say, given the competition, it should be like half price, at least. However, not bad... considering I spent about a K on safcom one weekend, and never even downloaded much. Form is temporary, class is permanent

ok was downloading like 30mb on my ipod via wireless, took about 15 minutes. then yesterday downloaded 12 mb on the laptop and it flew bye in like 4 to 5 minutes. Started at 148 kb/s and when complete was at around 48 kb/s. Now,given its a 256k line, the best it should do is 32kb/s....so I dont understand where the speed came from!!!! Zuku will install this week, so I'll keep all posted. So far Zuku have been very responsive, lets see. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

There was some fella in SK called jaguar who could open up a modem to run any 3G at 60bob,when i last checked he had deleted his post and contact details. Does anyone out there know how to do it or where i can get it done? i am tired of the expensive safcom. In any case it is not that fast. Meru Holiness

Hey. New here. Im hoping i'll finally get an answer of a decent ISP thats unlimited on data and cheap. I do heavy downloading, and hosting as well, so an ISP that offers true broadband, a static IP would be ideal. I dont need it a mobile, safaricom-esque type modem.
@KulaRaha - how did the search go? is Zuku all that?

@lukandu... which are the areas where you can get Loopnet? And, if I may ask, why is it free? Is it CSR? Form is temporary, class is permanent

First of all it is great to see that there is an isp in kenya that people don't seem to complain too much about. Mr. Lukandu Have you solved the issue on the worst isp in kenyaIt is very rude to try and sell your product on someone elses post. Especially when you have not updated us on the results of your previous case. Now this is really smelling bad! Asanazi= Wazua? Hata wakizima taa
