i used to be with equity, they took ages to reply to emails, then i moved to NIC, recently during the bear the guys messed two of my orders. i suspect its contempt because i do not trade in millions so the guy just ignores my sale order for a couple of days and i lost. then when i put an order to buy, he buys some and leaves the others. i have to email him everytime to get my statement or know if an order went through, i am now moving to CFC and hope the online system works so that i can trade without relying on anyone
our goals are best achieved indirectly

kiterunner, our brokers are crap. CFC can at times frustrate as the online trading system has persistent glitches. By the way, I hope you subscribe to trade alerts from CDSC, just incase someone tries monkey business

Go with standard investment bank . The service is good. You can make online trades or place an order through the phone or email. If you want you can request to have an investment analyst assigned to you to overlook your portfolio.
Give them a visit at 16th floor icea building kenyatta avenue, nairobi.
Or you can check them online : http://www.sib.co.ke

Bytheways i dnt work there but i like their services so far.

@the deal.. used to think so, until I migrated from D&B to African Alliance.. Never had an issue with them. orders executed Pap!

@ Lovely i have started using the CFC online system and all my orders are executed within a few minutes. Yesterday i placed an order for 5000 equity bank shares at 20.50/- and i got them in less than 5 minutes.
