Sub 30 coming up...

I've also seen Total print 19.00

Centum also prints 16.00 looking to test the low made a few weeks back @15.85. There is a nasty exit volume that happened in Aug and I expect that volume to shake this counter to the boots... 12/- won't be a shocker in coming weeks...

http://www.wazua.co.ke/i...kprofiler.aspx?stkId=17 - Select the 1-year period on the graph and see that volume...

Wa wa wa wa . holds hand to the mouth. i get these moments often nowadays. like when i saw HFCK at 15.35. This market will make anyone feeling clever look utterly stupid.

@youcant. They've changed the password at nelly data, the one for dyerandblair. please hook a brother up, im flying blind.

@youcant And Hisah. Looks like mystocks was down coz they were updating the new n.s.e segments.

@Youcant - KCB is still trying to hold on above 19.50. The next attempt and success to close below will see it plunge to 18/-

Indeed the 3500 flood-gate is sweeping things downstream swiftly...

NSE today will reclaim the 3300s handle on close which we will know in the next hour when the index metric is computed...

Last Friday the close was 3507.

This week the close will be... closed at 3397 (sub 3400 in a span of 4 days since Aug 29). No support coming anytime soon...

Making the weekly loss... lost 110pts - down 3.13%

Wanjiku will have to grow very thick skin to brave this squeeze.

Coincidentally even the Bloomberg NSE ticker stopped tracking on Aug 30th @3465 while the index today reads - 3397... Even the foreigner ticker has gone on a go-slow smile

http://www.bloomberg.com...uote?ticker=KNSMIDX:IND

Even http://live.rich.co.ke is also having the blues... Inaccessible...

NSE twitter account was updated on Aug 29 since Aug 5. I expect the updates to seize again... At least they should have mentioned the extension of the of britak listing...

Things are whats the word...... THICK. Im wondering...... we all knew this time would come, but we thought it would be around election time, it has come a full year ahead of schedule.
Does this mean that this will last till after election? or the bear may even get worse than we earlier thought as we near election? Or could their be another twist yet again, as it has already? just thinking out loud.

Now I believe the bottom is nowhere near, i have reluctantly sold my whole portfolio (thank God still in greens in total but bare so) I have revised my target prices downwards to get back

NMG 110
MPESA BANK 1.90
JUB 110
ACCESS 3
KQ 22
KCB 12
EQUITY 10

I will wait for these prices or for the official election dates announcement or for the NSSF Money to be poured. Whichever comes first.

For now i ll sit and watch

the lowest equity can fall ( technically is 13 bob ) to think it will touch 10 bob is abit tooooooo much.

I heard this talk when member was 30 & its has now exceeded my 20/- target. At 10/- member would be excessively oversold, but when wanjiku is spooked, any bailout price will do!

The same was said about MSC that a fall to 8.40 from 13 would be 'too much'... Same with JBL from 130 to 110 - 115. All targets exceeded?!

Unless one has the NSSF funds, wait for the mboyz to create the floor. No need to catch a falling knife & it doesn't hurt to sit on cash. Volumes will tell you where they're creating floors. E.g. Look at the mpesa counter weekly volume.

Trying to time the market? Haya jaribu. But AK is trading very thin volumes and you might be left chasing the bus when the share turns.

Britak will be listed on Sept 8th. A day after a German court decides if it is unconstitutional for Germany to bailout PIIGS esp Greece thru the EFSF program. The outcome if against will pour cold water onto Europe & defaults will be likely. Last month US got downgraded & markets have snapped months of gains. NSE too saw a big decline in Aug. In short if the Germans says no (likely), markets will get spooked.
Now what is the sense of risking the britak listing a few hours later??? Unless PPT is planing to build a floor from Monday, it just doesn't make sense. Being a fresh listing there is no floor/roof... One spooked wanjiku could decide to sell @7 just to get out with low demand... Don't they see this or do they want this? The latter question is devious to say the least & this is where CMA looks like CCK or CBK... Perhaps something to do with the letter 'C'...

@ajamaatrying, IMHO this bear has nothing to do with perceived political risk or fundamentals but is due to the economic weaknesses in the west and the foreign investors pulling money out of risky assets and markets. By elections time this market will be so undervalued, if political risk is factored.
