The Nairobi Securities Exchange declined for the second successive day on Thursday though analysts tipped the recent rally to resume on the back of impressive results from listed companies.

“We expect that this is a small bump along the way given that companies continue to announce good earnings like Britam and Diamond Trust Bank did today. The market fundamentals remain good,” said Mr Kuria Kamau, a research analyst at Kestrel Capital.

Local investors need to develop a thick skin to get to the promised land coz by and large, they are the net sellers and while foreigners have remained the net buyers. .... The market has alot of headroom and the foreigners are playing well against locals

Majority of the locals will never make any good money here"pesa ya sukuma" a 2-3 shillings gain makes them mad to sell not minding commisions, the foreigners will finally pocket all the gains.

I can see paka has started going under water...

Lepers KQ, KK & MSC still trying to remain afloat. KK could just make it. But the other 2, the results will break their spine.

Now patiently waiting for Mr market to leak back to 4700. Dear Kengen I need you at the 10 stage.
