They have an office in UK..... They generally have very attractive prices.
Not sure how they work. They're currently selling a Ford Ranger with the Engine Management warning light showing while the engine is running.

So the conversation goes like ....

Me: Why is the engine management light on?

Salesman: yes but its in very good condition

Me: And the management light....?

Salesman): Yeah... but its fine.
So are you interested?

Me: ????? (under my breath) WTF..

Would this kind of vehicle pass Jevic?

Thanks @JkMwatha.
I just got curious coz they now have a local(in KE) office. They seem to have become quite aggressive and are shipping cars to KE before any commitment by local car dealers/buyers.

Desperation may be....They're probably shipping cars that other suppliers keep away from. On the other hand it is probably their business strategy.

My Honda has ABS & SRS lights "ON" while moving. I have been forgetting to have it checked by an Auto-electrician.

I think you need to have it diagnosed... It could be anything from a tiny sensor to a weakening timing belt.

Yes it would still pass the inspection.

This guys at KRA are becoming smarter. Recently brought in a car and had to pay an extra 100K in duty because my car has leather seats. Showroom difference in price for the fabric and non fabric model is 600K. Gone are those days when they just used to look at the model and not the extras. If your car has turbo, the same applies. However, you can calculate the exact duty if you have all the facts beforehand.

hi wise wazuans, I have gone through the thread and I have learnt alot. the information is invaluable. my question is, has kra sorted their crsp list to cover extra car features or they are still relaying on inspection by its officers.

What beats me is how KRA is able to value an 8 year old "if it was new today"?Some of the models are not even in production where they originate from?Pure guesswork..
